Summary The Payroll Manager is primarily responsible for effective management and administration of the firm's overall payroll function including: payroll processing, tax requirements/filings, issue resolution, monthly, quarterly and annual processes, general accounting reconciliations, verifications and controls, internal and external audits and employee support. This position will also be responsible for identifying area of functional improvement and implementing new systems or procedures to generate department/processing efficiencies as well as ensuring that all internal processes are in compliance with the policies of the company and federal, state, and city regulations Qualifications *Knowledge of reporting software *Ability to handle personal and financial information with utmost discretion *Exemplary attention to detail and organizational skills *Ability to multitask and manage various priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills *Ability to comfortably work with all levels of employees and management *Demonstrated working knowledge of city, state and federal labor laws; Superior command of Excel *Minimum of 5 years' experience processing payroll *Working knowledge of ADP and Report Writing preferred ^Previous supervisory experience. ^Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required *Experience with eTime v6 and Self Service Portal, is a plus Responsibilities *Process Payroll on Enterprise HRIS Software *Administrator for ADP systems: Enterprise v5, eTime v6, and Self Service Portal *Administration of FSA, Transit/Parking and Pension Programs *Coordinate 401(k) annual audit and 5500 filings *Work closely with Human Resources, Accounting and Finance. This includes: Report writing for Budgeting, Cost Analysis, Worker's Comp. and Bank Reconciliation *Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll and payroll related data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures. *Prepare semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for gross payroll, benefit deductions, etc. *Audit payroll processes to ensure compliance with payroll wage and hour laws and regulations. Update processes as needed to remain in compliance. *Research and respond timely to employee payroll inquires. *Provide year end support for audits and tax filings, quarterly and year-end processes such as W-2's, W-2c's and 3rd Party Sick Please visit our website at Follow us on twitter:
