Job Description
TAUK Kitchen and Bar is seeking a high energy, experienced Cook / Chef to join our growing and dynamic team TAUK Kitchen and Bar features lunch, dinner, late night bar and weekend brunch with a full service bar. We are looking for creative, highly motivated individuals who can take fresh ingredients and run with it Our core menu has something for everyone; staple proteins include chicken, steak (hanger and filet) shrimp, lobster and local seafood sourced from Montauk, NY. We couple this with fresh, local and seasonal produce.
Menu Headers:
:Small plates and Shareables
:Soups and Salads
:Gourmet Sandwiches and Burgers
:Prepare all served food
:Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
:Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
:Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
:Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
:Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
:Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
:Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
:Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
:Strong attention to detail
:Ability to thrive in a fast:paced environment
:Ability to work well in teams
