The strategy analyst will work with the VP of Strategy and Synergy on key research, analysis and reporting efforts across divisions. They would be involved in the creation, design and build of business models, supporting strategy division leads and team to ensure the timely delivery of key reports and analyses.Ideally, along the way, they will get the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, build out their leadership, problem solving, and people management skills.
This role will not have any direct reports.
:HARMAN:Samsung Collaborationand Synergy reporting and follow:ups: With inputs and review by the VP of strategy and division strategy leads, monitor synergy financials, collate the monthly board update, and ensure quarterly board updates reflect critical moves and financials
:Assembly of monthly macroeconomic reports with VP of strategy: Collate information that comes in from divisions, and take on market and economic research to proactively
:Competitive analysis and intelligence gathering across all divisions, in an effort to maintain focus on emerging trends, opportunities and threats
:Limited strategy and synergy support for Pro and HCS, with the oversight of the VP of strategy and other team members
:Emerging and ad hoc projects to address CEO and EC inquiries
:Leverage and develop skills in Finance and Project Management, Process and Innovation Performance, Strategy, Supply Chain Management, and/or Talent and Organization Performance
:Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills
:Learn to design new business processes, capabilities and supporting technologies
:Conduct industry and client research and analysis to identify new value sources. Specifically, an ongoing analysis of what are our customers thinking' e.g., scenarios on where automotive OEMs might be headed based on technology roadmaps, partnerships or M and A activity, etc.
:Developing communications, training and job aids to assist in change management activities
:Bachelors degree in Business, Finance/Economics, Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering with 1:2 years of Management Consulting or Finance Industry experience (M and A, market analysis, etc.)
:If the candidate has a Masters degree (Business, Finance/Economics, Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering ) then internships and projectswith leading consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, PWC, etc.) or other relevant experience related to business consultancy are a plus
:Strong problem:solving, statistical and analytical skills
:Language skills a plus (German, Korean)
:A track record of outstanding academic performance
:Strong financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnosis skill
:Interest and focus on economic analysis and technology trends
:Eagerness to contribute in a team:oriented environment
