NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Meditech Clinical Application Support Specialist to join our team. This is a virtual role which you may work from your home office anywhere within the US. This role will provide our client with a knowledge leader experienced with clinical and technical processes within the Meditech application suite. The individual for this role must possess deep clinical expertise and a successful track record of addressing the clinical process issues and workflow optimization regarding the use of Meditechs Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software suite. The person will help guide the clinical support team, as well as work directly with the physicians and senior clinicians.
Role Responsibilities
:Applies business systems and applications analysis skills and knowledge in support of Meditech applications, including at least one of the following: NUR/PCS, EDM, POM, EMR, LAB, PHA, RAD/ITS, PCM, MIS, Universe
:Have a broad and strong understanding of the Meditech HCIS with the ability to collaborate with end users, customers and internal leadership to define vision and scope as it pertains to the use of the Meditech HCIS
:Classifies problems as system, training, or process related and recommends corrections
:Instruct end users on new technologies and enhancements
:Guide end users through complex application functionality
:Provides second and third level support for multiple Meditech Clinical applications across a healthcare enterprise
:Communicates with internal networking and desktop support teams, as well as, end users for problem resolution
:Establish a close working relationship with the customer and analyzes issues and problems reported by end users and customers
:Identifies and implements solutions in cooperation with other team members, Meditech Inc., and end users and customers
:Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
:Experienced in Meditech clinical workflows and functionality
:5+ years clinical care delivery experience
:3+ years of experience in Meditech implementation and support
:Previous team leadership experience
:Demonstrates a service philosophy in all interactions with clinicians and colleagues
:Experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
:Ability to work a rotating "on:call" shift as required to include evenings and weekends and holidays
:Experience in EMR system integration with other clinical systems
