Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

*Summary*:
The Industry Principal role is integral in helpingdevelop a company-wide manufacturing strategy by micro-vertical. An IP utilizestheir vertical market expertise to understand of our product, marketplace,cross-organization relationships and customers to increase Sales, improveCustomer Satisfaction and Retention, and drive the Solution Map of partner andproduct offerings. You will collaborate extensively with other members of theMCOE team and focus the efforts of the different departments on a common goal.
TheMCOE collaborates with multiple cross functional teams, and partnership effortsto improve Oracle / NetSuite's position in the marketplace. The MCOE utilizesour deep industry knowledge to promote Oracle / NetSuite s value propositionthrough-out all phases of the customer and internal team member engagementprocess. You will be seen as an expert in your area of responsibility and willregularly be asked for recommendations, opinions or insight.

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Support SalesOpportunities. Providing direct deal product demo support, industry expertiseand strategy in industry specific sales opportunities.

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Create, write andprovide marketing collateral content and direction. Assist marketing to developa comprehensive strategy, including Competitive analysis, Webinars, WhitePapers, Drip Content.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Develop VerticalSales Enablement. Increase vertical product sales team knowledge throughimproving their understanding of the vertical trends.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Conduct internalor external facing Industry update session via WebEx or other media.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Improve customersatisfaction. Develop and execute a plan to improve customer satisfaction. Workwith Training and Implementation teams to develop and improve on currentprograms.
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Drive SolutionMap. Provide feedback to drive SDN efforts around these verticals. Adviseproduct management about product direction based on deal killing missingfunctionality, customer requests, analyst suggestions, and competitiveofferings.

*Qualifications/Skills:*

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->Related experiencein manufacturing and supply chain for the targeted sub-vertical markets (i.e.food, beverage, general manufacturing, medical device, furniture, etc.)
-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->5 years in manufacturing,marketing, sales, sales engineering or implementation in enterprise softwareapplications in target vertical markets
